Its one and two star share is 8 points above the typical installer in South Carolina. Across South Carolina, 29 of the 101 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 21 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

I started this process in 2023, paid out over 90 thousand dollars cash and never received solar service. Chris Evans stopped returning my calls. Now I have all this junk in my back yard a contract that is not worth the paper it is on

Solarair was timely in getting our system installed in Nov 2025. However, our Powerall battery has been offline most of the time since then. We have reached out multiple times to Chris and he doesn't respond. It feels.like we are being ignored. The system also still hasn't passed inspection because of missing stickers. The county inspector has come multiple times but cant pass it because solarair is not doing their job. It seems like this company no longer cares about its customers because the Federal energy tax credits have expired and therefore demand for solar systems is down.

It had sold a power for about a year and no battery been promised to battery. No battery, no battery, no bathen. Promise money for the battery at not even close to the cost of the battery. But still no battery or no money

Solar air and energy were a very enthusiastic and positive company to work with. They answered all of our questions during the process and installment. David was a very friendly and helpful sales agent. Their tech Chris kept in contact with us throughout the entire process and gave us timelines. I’m giving them 4 stars because they became vague on questions later asked regarding offset. We also had an issue with one of their contractors which halted the process for several weeks.

From the beginning up to the installation, the process was seamless. Trejun explained everything thoroughly and answered all of my questions so that there wasn’t any doubt or question about this purchase. More than a year later and my calls/texts/emails are still being addressed without hesitation which shows how much they care for their clients. My husband and I are very pleased with their services!

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • 24/7 availability

“je wykorzystac. Dostepny kontakt 24/7 to sygnal, ze operator traktuje…”

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
