Solartech

Each mark is one company we hold in Vermont whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Solartech is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Apparently only do large solar projects. After finding out that ours was a small system they did not want to do and told us they were too busy. Oh well there are lots of Solar folks out there! Moving on.

Rich and Zeb installed a 14.3K system for us. Their ability to explain everything in a way we could understand, attention to detail, and quick response to any questions, are rare qualities with companies today. We have and will continue to highly recommend Solartech! Thank you for your great service.

This group installed my Tracker in 2013. I should have reviewed them sooner. They came when they said they would. The project took as long as they said it would. They did all the paperwork required. Every man on the crew could answer any of my questions. They worked with me and created a beautiful installation. No hesitation in recommending them!

Rich Nicol of Solar Tech is an absolute professional, and an extremely competent solar guy. We hired him several years ago, after stellar recommendations from a neighbor, to install a complicated system involving both grid-tied and off-grid components, with ground-mounted panels over 600 feet away from the house. He and his crew did a superb job, and the system has run well now for several years. He also installed another set of roof panels several years later, on an extension we did. When, in the process of drilling holes to plant trees, we unknowingly cut into the conduit carrying the solar

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

• It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
