Its one and two star share is 35 points above the typical installer in Rocklin. Across California, 81 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 5 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in Rocklin whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. SolaTrim, LLC is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

I invested several thousands of dollars to have SolaTrim installed to protect my solar array after squirrels kept going under and chewing the wires and building nests. I have had this product installed on my solar array for about 8 months. The squirrels were able to chew their way right through this. The SolaTrim product comes with a 10 year warranty on two things: it will not come off if installed properly, and the paint finish. The warranty does not cover critter damage to the the SolarTrim or what it is meant to protect. SolaTrim is a deterrent only, so know that your results may vary if yo

Terrible. Doesn’t stick to panels properly. Expensive and doesn’t work correctly. Unhappy customers. Our team has cleaned the surface 100% before installing on a 70 degree day. I used this product 5 years ago and had same result. Figured I would try it again but SolaTrim has NOT figured it out yet as of mid 2025

This review is for Ernie I love the SolaTrim product. It’s very clean, tough, and esthetically pleasing to the eye. I bought $1200 of the 6.75 from Nixalite (also a great company) and had a company install it. The initial SolaTrim on my solar panels began to have issues 6-8 months after initial install; I personally had braved the 2nd story roof to fix several areas but noticed 6 months later other areas that began to detach from the panels (these issues were not product related but most likely installer related). Knowing this was gonna be an ongoing issue, i wanted a company to evaluate and r

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions warranty, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

    What we don't know

    • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
    • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
    • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
