Its one and two star share is 2 points below the typical installer in New York. Across New York, 139 of the 247 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 6 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Amazing experience. On time work. Great communication. Excellent pricing and work quality.

Pasquale and his team are fantastic. We met with a couple of companies to receive quotes and he was just more informed, genuinely a nice person to work with, and communicative. As a new home owner dealing with many contractors in the last couple of years, I cannot tell you the breath of fresh air that last point is. Once we agreed to terms and chose our panels (he talked us through two options, weighing the pros and cons specific to our house), Pasquale took care of everything: Filing town, state and utility forms (for state and federal rebates); ordering all equipment; and scheduled everythin

I opted to install solar panels for my home in Westchester County. After a careful evaluation of various vendor proposals, including a couple from companies with a national footprint, I decided to go with SolEnergy NY. The reason was straightforward - Pasquale Marangi was wonderful to deal with. From the time he submitted his proposal, he was proactive in his dealings, always reachable no matter what time of the day it was and he pretty much took care of everything . HIs team was professional , always on time and even worked over a weekend to meet a timeline that I requested. His pricing was c

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Financing

“is also sales tax exempt in NY! What financing options are available? SolEnergy NY works…”

Its website also mentions warranty, insured and licensed, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Batavia is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
