Terrible communication after signing an agreement. Suddenly got an email cancelling project with no explanation and no way of getting in touch with them.

Install went well, follow up was terrible. Waited a month, then I finally contacted utility company myself to get final approval. Solgen had no excuse for the long delay.

After making the mistake of responding to a very misleading ad on instagram this company has been calling me nonstop from a series of different phone numbers. Every time I block one phone number they call from a different one. I have asked several times not to be contacted by email and text to no avail. Do not give your info to this company!

Love my new solar panels. Excited for the savings. My team was great.

Chris Rice - The man, The Myth, The Legend is exactly why you buy Solgen. The initial process and installation were all smooth as can be. The back end of the process was a little rough on communication with the office team but Chris even stepped in then and smoothed it out. He was informative in his presentation and timely in his communication. Would work with Chris again anytime!

Working with Solgen was a pleasure. They kept me informed every step of the way and my panels were installed quickly. I liked their no pressure sales approach and honesty. They were also very responsive to my questions. The solar system is up and running and I’m thrilled. Thanks Solgen!

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
