Its one and two star share is 3 points below the typical installer in Santa Cruz. Across California, 788 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 10 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in Santa Cruz whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Soltari is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

What reviewers said

They made everything so easy! The cost was fair, and my charger works perfectly!

Eric is a fastidious, knowledgeable and highly skilled electrician who was able to not only do my complete installation but also teach me and explain a lot about how it all worked. Couldn’t recommend more.

These guys did an incredible job start to finish. From design through install and beyond. We had an extensive system put in with 3 Tesla wall batteries and 15kw of panels. Also a charger for my EV. Everything was as quoted with no surprises. They handled everything, and the inspector even mentioned that all jobs should be like this!Installers Daniel and David were awesome to work with! After the complete installation, Eric walked us through using the app to monitor our usage and the energy we were using. We were delighted that even on an overcast day, there was still juice flowing in. Everythi

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Licensed

“electrical foundation. Soltari's licensed electricians provide the full range…”

Its website also mentions warranty, free estimate and licence number, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Angi, HomeAdvisor and Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Instagram and LinkedIn. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
