Its one and two star share is 3 points below the typical installer in Santa Cruz. Across California, 788 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 23 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Daniel does great work! He was eager to do the project, helped me to keep the price reasonable, friendly to work with, and did an excellent job. Daniel replaced 3 solar panels with 6 new ones, upgraded my charge controller, sealed and rewired everything, and even fixed a smart shunt I had previously installed wrong. He completed the whole project in one afternoon, while patiently listening to my rambling distractions. The reviews here encouraged me to call him and I was not disappointed. Everyone referring to him by first name means he made a connection; he really cares about his work. If you'

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Warranty

“systems that will be long lasting and guaranteed to give you the power results you…”

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Instagram. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
