    I am sure most other companies can do a great install. My personal opinion is that a really company is determined by when there is a problem. And I have a problem that has been going on for a year and a half. Slightly less than 2 years after install I had three of my twenty one were producing significantly less power than the others. After a couple trips out and some monitoring for several months we addressed the warranty from Certain Teed. I found out that the 370's on my roof were not available and no longer being produced. Certain Teed them completely honored the warranty. During this timef

    Quoted me over $80k for a home solar system installed in a new construction steel garage next to the 1300 sq foot house house. When I got the $80k quote, I knew this was a company I wouldn't be doing business with. I told the person I wasn't going to take any more of his time. I sent a link to the cost of the equipment from a top rated home solar supplier for a 12kv Li-ion rack system. He offered to consult if I needed any help doing it myself. Since then I talked with other installers. They said the price I was quoted would cover a system for a massive, premium home.

    We have not had an electric bill since we went solar! Southern Exposure Solar did a great job with the installation, and it's hard to even tell just by looking at our house that we have solar. It has been 5 months since we connected to the grid, and even through the fall and winter with less sunlight we haven't had a bill. The estimates of energy generation and usage were very accurate, and the system is working great! The team continues to send us guidance, like on how to reset our net metering anniversary date.     I am SO glad I made the decision to contact Southern Exposure Solar about installing a solar power system for my home. I have long been concerned about the impact AI would have on electricity rates in Virginia, and the expiration of the federal tax credit prompted me to finally get it done. I contacted Grayson Goodson in the summer, and he set up a virtual meeting to explain the process. I instantly felt I could trust Grayson. He put zero pressure on me, unlike another solar system salesperson that I had dealt with two years ago. He pretty much guaranteed that my system would be up and running
