The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 9 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

It's a fly-by-night. They sell you the system then disappear. No communication skills or customer service skills. I do not recommend this company. Go anywhere else but here.

We sat down with a representative from Southern Sky Solar last weekend, went over all the details and agreed to a 11.6kw system which qualified us for two inverters that would provide 4000 watts of power if the Teco grid ever went down, all for $34,800. After the government tax credit of 30%, we were told the price would drop to around $20,000. We were also told if we qualified for 3.99% financing, our monthly bill would be around $150 to $200 and we'd have the solar panels paid off in 8-10 years and still enjoy 15 years or more of the solar panels' 25 year manufacturer warranty. Installed 20kw system on my house at the end of 2023. Energy consultant was polite and very knowledgeable. Installation, roof permitting went super easy. Smooth process from start to finish.

Southern Sky Solar did an amazing job from the sale to installation. The sales person helped us understand the process and made sure all was clear. Within days the crew was installing our panels and meters. They explained everything as it was complete. When we did have a small issue with the meter they were quick to fix it and made sure we were satisfied. I have recommended them to clients that I have sold homes to.

The process of Southern Sky solar has been very pleasant. I'm very satisfied with the communication with me. They contacted me instead of me contacting them all the time. They have met all my expectations so far, even though I'm still not up and running but that's to come soon in the next week or two. The overall performance, everybody has been very professional and very kind. I would recommend this to anybody who is interested in Solar Products.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Holiday is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
