They are awful! I had to get my panels removed in March of 2023 due to a leak in the roof. First I had to contact at least 2 representatives to move the process forward. Now it’s October of 2023 and my panels still have not beeb reinstalled. My 3rd reinstallation appointment was just cancelled. I’m going to research to see if I can switch companies

Sun Run uses shady sales tactics to get you to believe that you “don’t have a choice” but to install solar panels talking about “future state mandates” as if they’re in place today. When reminded of the no soliciting mandate that’s actually in place in Holbrook, the sales representative tried to say he was “educating” not selling, another shady tactic to get around the fact that what they’re doing is illegal. Even if I were looking for consulting services on energy conservation, after that interaction I’d look to any other company besides sun run.

  • It is also reviewed on Angi and HomeAdvisor. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
