Its one and two star share is 32 points above the typical installer in Minnesota. Across Minnesota, 5 of the 68 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 3 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

What reviewers said

  • 2★ · around September 2022

I know times are tough for getting parts, workers.. etc. My beef is 2 fold, 1) took near 17 months from contract to operational. Communication was non existent. I had to initiate 90% of all correspondence. Terrible customer service to get to point where installed 2) Its been a month & 1/2 and still 12 panels are at "0" production. Once again i am the one initiating that there is problem. They really only want your $ - Do yourself a favor, don't.

Sundial solar is an amazing company who have served my solar needs for a decade. On time, clear communicators, never kept me guessing. Turnkey operations, with no call back issues. 100 percent satisfied with the 3 going on 4 installations they have done for me

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Warranty

“typically lease land with 30 years of guaranteed lease revenue and the ability to…”
  • 24/7 availability

“handled for community solar? We have 24/7 remote monitoring of the solar system…”

Its website also mentions years in business, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It posts on X, LinkedIn and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
