Its one and two star share is 3 points below the typical installer in the Minneapolis area. Across Minnesota, 34 of the 68 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 445 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

On the Minnesota ranking

The strongest review record in Minnesota →

Ordered by the share of one and two star reviews, weighted by how many reviews stand behind it. It ranks review records, not workmanship.

Every company we hold in the Minneapolis area, on one axis

0% rated 1–2★25%

Each mark is one company we hold in the Minneapolis area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Shared Solar Advisors USA is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Was gonna tell my whole interaction with this company but it’s just not worth it.

  • 1★ · around August 2025

I'm located in maine and 1 of their advisors (calder favreau) walked into my house to talk to someone about solar my wife was home alone with our dogs and she never would have known he was there if it weren't for our dogs.

They showed up over a year ago saying we would be saving all this money 💰.... Now I am paying double...paying them and CMP …

  • 5★ · around July 2026

Mohamed was very clear and knowledgeable in his business. Not demanding or pushy but very polite.

  • 5★ · around July 2026

The rep who came to my door was extremely polite and patient with me. I didn’t quite trust them coming to my door and asking for my electric bill. But after I did some research and called CMP, the rep came and knocked on my door another day, and I went ahead and signed up for the program. It was extremely simple, and took no time at all. I really appreciated the professionalism that was displayed by the representative and would absolutely recommend shared solar advisors to friends and family.

Mohamed Ahmed came to my door and was very pleasant and knowledgeable. We were aware of a similar company and wanted to get the discount but process wasn’t easy . Timing and face to face is everything. He even returned the next day so my husband was there also . He answered all our questions and made the sign up seamless. Thank you to this young man for his patience and professionalism. It was a very pleasant experience.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Established

“pockets and clean energy on the grid since 2019. Learn how we're making an impact…”

Its website also mentions better business bureau, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
