Its one and two star share is 1 point below the typical installer in Minnesota. Across Minnesota, 35 of the 68 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 8 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Ben is super trustworthy and he does a good job. It took a lot longer than expected to get our system installed, but the reasons for that were out of his control. I am happy with the outcome.

Ben was fantastic to work with! I was incredibly grateful to work with him on rebuilding the porch on my 100 year old farmhouse. He is an excellent communicator, innovative thinker, expert carpenter, and all around great human being. Thank you, Ben, for all you did to see this complicated project through to fruition!

Ben has been an absolute joy to work with! We contacted him about a solar setup for a new off-grid cabin build, but wanted to save some funds and do the install as much on our own as possible. From the very start of the project he has been easy to work with, clearly explaining everything and is very supportive. He helped think through our actual needs, talked about our options and was always available for my silly questions and ideas! He then went WAY out of his way to help us with an odd delivery challenge we had (related to another company) and came out to the site to deliver all the supplie

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions licensed, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

    What we don't know

    • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
    • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
    • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
