Its one and two star share is 1 point below the typical installer in Minnesota. Across Minnesota, 35 of the 68 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 5 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

The entire process was smooth and didn’t take long. After everything was approved by Xcel the solar was delivered the next day and everything was installed within 3 days. I’ve been ever happy with everything so far. I would recommend Truva Energy.

Truva/Andy installed a solar system at our house in December 2025. As part of the process I engaged a few other installers to get quotes and interacted with them. Andy was by far the most knowledgable, genuine, and professional of all I communicated with. He was the only one who offered to come out in person to assess our situation. Meeting Andy was a pleasure. He was/is very friendly on top of having complete command of the details. I had a lot of questions for him and he quite robustly answered all of them. His demeanor is outstanding--he doesn't talk down or assume you know anything but he

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Licence number

“Rights Reserved Electrical contractor license #EA807679 Building contractor license #BC809447…”

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Alexandria is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
