Its one and two star share is 2 points below the typical installer in Florida. Across Florida, 371 of the 675 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 7 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

What reviewers said

  • 5★ · around May 2026 · the company replied

Tremendous service, started on-time, finished on-time, and was very conscious of our property during the entire process. Derek did an excellent job. Consider me a repeat customer for sure.

  • 5★ · around April 2026 · the company replied

Use Derek for all of our cleanings, always satisfied with his service and communication. Never had negative feedback from a customer and treats them as his own. Highly recommend for solar panel cleanings.

  • 5★ · around August 2025 · the company replied

Derek sold me my system over five years ago. He was professional, honest and reliable. Naturally, when I discovered that he was in the solar maintenance business, I was anxious to have him work for me again. He does great work, and you can count on him to make things right if there’s ever an issue. I most highly recommend this company!

What reviewers keep mentioning

  • solar panel cleaning 2

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Veteran owned

“LLC is a licensed, insured, and veteran-owned solar service company proudly serving…”

  • Years in business

“serving Northwest Florida. With over 10 years of hands-on experience in the solar…”

  • Insured

“Side Up Solutions, LLC is a licensed, insured, and veteran-owned solar service…”

Its website also mentions free estimate and licensed, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It posts on Facebook and YouTube. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Milton is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
