Its one and two star share is 23 points above the typical installer in Salem. Across Oregon, 8 of the 106 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 176 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Every company we hold in Salem, on one axis

0% rated 1–2★25%

Each mark is one company we hold in Salem whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. SunPower® is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Very pushy door to door salesman who ignore "No Soliciting" and "No Trespassing" signs. I would stay away from any company who endorses these businesses practices.

Not sure why there is so many sunpower companies out there. A bit confusing but they seem bad either way

I highly recommend staying away from this company. I had a very earnest sales rep, Jace, who promised he would be my contact person throughout the process of the company installing panels that they would own and maintain and I would pay a fixed monthly bill to them with small annual increases. Claimed he had done this for his mom. Sounded like a great deal. Guess I should’ve known better! All the permitting happened very quickly, thanks to the county and PGE, and then I heard nothing for months. When I called the sales rep to find out what was going on, he told me the company was going to pay

The experience has not been good. The crew was on time but did not have all the equipment, so they went to get the parts and wrecked the truck delaying our project another 3 days. They were unwilling to finish the next day. They won't put critter guard's on the system. So far not happy with this company that seems to put their needs before the customer. Critter guard's are sold at home Depot so I will need to install myself. I do not recommend this company.

Update: More than a year since the system is on, zero bill for the full year. No issues so far. Blue Raven completed the installation after a series of elaborate steps, permits, approvals, all the heavy lifting was done by them. Happy with the experience so far, will update the review after a few months based on usage and customer service experience.

Blue Raven has been great to work with. I’ve been hesitant about the process of getting solar and they have take care of us every step of the way. Installation went great and they worked efficiently at our home.

Amazing work, would highly recommend anyone go through Blue Raven for solar. They helped me every step of the way and made the process really easy.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions warranty, free estimate and established, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

    Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

    What we don't know

    • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
    • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
    • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
