    ***UPDATE TO THIS POST 1/3/2025 Sunpower did not ever reach out as they promised in the response to my post, and as expected-would not return calls. We just had a very expensive solar system installed on our home by SunPower. Check it out they have 516 ONE STAR reviews on Yelp. I wish I would have seen this before I purchased. They were extremely difficult to deal with. Customer service is horrible. They don't call you back after you purchase if you have questions. No one knows what is going on most of the time. We had to call multiple times to get anything done and most calls were ignored. Th

    Their network of authorized dealers proved to be of zero value recently. I hired one of their authorized partners to perform a solar detach/attach. Totally screwed up the attach and broke dozens of NEW roof tiles in the process. Buyer beware! The COMPANY might be authorized. But they subcontract the work to unskilled workers with absolutely no onsite management from the partner. That's what happened to me. Sunpower does not police activity with their partner network. Update regarding Sunpower's response: Call. Right. I'll end up on hold in the Philippines. No thanks. Email? Waste of time. I ha

    The panels are fine and the system works well and the support on actual product is good, HOWEVER, customer service on other issues is problematic. SunPower came out to do some work on the panels, they destroyed the bird abatement system I had just paid $1100 installing. It cost almost $600 to repair. For 4 months they have given me the run-around. Excuse after excuse. Tired of hearing " we are working on it" and requesting I keep sending the photos over and over again. I sent the photos 4 times.
