We signed a contract with Sunrise Solar in June 2024 after being impressed with their proposal, competitive price, and professionalism. Since then, they have not performed any work, have had poor communication, and stole our money. After placing a deposit, I had to keep asking for updates for them to finally share they merged with another company. They continued to say they were on top of our project and would give us a timeline. That never happened. I requested my money back weeks ago and have not received any of it despite many emails and phone calls. I unfortunately have to say to stay away

As others have noted in other reviews Refused to live up to warranty after agreeing to replace faulty equipment and has stopped responding to emails. The promises on the website couldn’t be farther than the truth. . . “Lifetime Support Count on us for lifelong support, including diagnostics and repairs, to keep your solar system performing at its best, no matter who installed it originally.”

This review is regarding service and not the installation. Sunrise installed a solar sytem for us several years ago and I have no complaints about that. The issue I do have is that several inverters have since failed and getting service under the warranty has been impossible. I've made 5 calls to date and have yet to receive a call back regarding service. I've spoken to whoever answers the office phone and explained the situation to them and receive assurances that I will receive a call from the service department but never do.

The installation in 2016 was great. We’ve had no problems. We were about to sell our home (December 2023) when our thorough realtor discovered that the final approvals with the city of New Rochelle were never completed. Granted New Rochelle is difficult to work with but for over a month now , we’ve been trying to get the installation, now five years old, approved and documented with the city inspector and we are still playing phone tag with at least two people at Sunrise Solar. This should have been completed years ago upon project completion. This is troublesome if you go to sell your home. I

I've installed the solar panels in early spring 2022 with Sunrise Solar Solutions, LLC. Ever since the system works without problems. All paperwork had been completed without any issues. Yes, White Plains,NY has a good governmental organisations, so I did not have to lift a finger. Sunrise Solar Solutions organised all permits. So far I'm very satisfied with the company. I do hope, that this will never change. Cristina

Sunrise has been very easy to work with. I've had the solar panels for 5 years now and they work like a dream. No complaints here!

In a world where customer service is on downward trend, it is refreshing to have companies like Sunrise Solar available. They are very professional and truly care about their clients. They always put their clients first. If you have questions about solar panels or solar system designs, give these guys a call.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

• It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
