Its one and two star share is 10 points above the typical installer in Pennsylvania. Across Pennsylvania, 29 of the 146 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 20 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Do not do business with sunrun. I was lied to about sunrun. I was told total would be 50k and now apparently thats not the case.

My roof is about to cave in, I have all the emails with Sunrun regarding their contractor who deemed it solar related and also have promises of repairs, I am now being ignored by the company because I told them I don’t want their company fixing my roof due to not trusting the company- I have been after them for over a year now!

So 5 years into our solar panel experience and we find out that our solar panels have been down for a year and we've been waiting on an inverter, and are told to just keep waiting for a phone call from sunrun letting us know they've received the part? A YEAR???

The staff here is very good. I was going to go somewhere else to get the load. I was running late. There were two trucks in front of me but they helped me. They unloaded my load right away. I thank the friends working here.

One of the best places to download, very friendly people, parking at night, they don't disturb your sleep, and they provide excellent service. Fast downloads in under 30 minutes.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Free estimate

“Enter your zip to start your free quote Do you own your home? Yes No Next…”

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
