Its one and two star share is 3 points below the typical installer in Nevada. Across Nevada, 48 of the 81 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 8 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

I recently purchased a home in Sable Creek in Centennial Hills that had a solar system on it. I have a friend in the solar business and I asked him if he would come over and inspect the system. Brian from The Solar Power Specialist came over and made sure that the system was big enough for my house, he even had the seller provide copies of the sales contract and their power bill to make sure that I would have enough to cover my usage! I’m happy to report that I’m earning $100 a month from NV energy and my cost for my power is under $270 a month for a 3700 square-foot house with a pool and a ho

I had solar panels installed on my home in December 2024 through Ion Solar, and unfortunately, the experience was a complete nightmare. Ion promised that if there were ever any issues with the roof, they’d only charge $1,000 to remove, store, and reinstall the panels. That gave me a false sense of security. When roofing issues actually arose—issues caused directly by their poor installation—I called Ion to hold them accountable and requested they simply remove the panels so I could get the roof repaired. Not only did they refuse to honor the original agreement, they quoted me $12,000 just to t

As a builder and VP at Pinnacle Homes, I’ve been cautious about solar companies, but meeting Brian Ralston from The Solar Power Specialists changed that. Brian took the time to understand my needs and explained solar in detail, from Nevada’s Net Metering program to system sizing and tax credits. His transparency, knowledge, and professionalism impressed me. He made the entire process seamless, from site inspections to installation, even handling unexpected roof repairs with integrity. The system is top-notch, aesthetically clean, and, most importantly, overproducing power, saving me from ever

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Financing

“solar panel needs. We also provide financing options, maintenance packages, and warranties…”
  • 24/7 availability

“and knowledgeable staff are available 24/7 to answer any questions or address…”

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Instagram. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
