Its one and two star share is 2 points below the typical installer in Illinois. Across Illinois, 104 of the 183 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 5 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

What reviewers said

  • 5★ · around August 2025

Working with Verde Solutions has been a game-changer for our business! From the very beginning, their team took the time to understand our energy needs and designed a custom solar solution that has significantly reduced our costs. Their professionalism, expertise, and dedication made the entire process seamless, from consultation to installation. With over 3,000 successful projects and recognition as a 12× Inc. 5000 honoree, it’s clear why Verde Solutions is a leader in the renewable energy industry. If you’re considering solar or other energy solutions, I highly recommend partnering with them

After using Verde for my home, I decided to add solar to my aircraft hangar. Working with the Verde team was a pleasure. They made a very challenging commercial project very simple. Great communication throughout the process. I learned that there are a lot of shady companies in this space. I feel fortunate that I found Verde.

The Verde team did a great job reducing our energy overhead with great solutions and ComEd subsidies that we never knew existed. Great service and support. Rarely does something that seems too good to be true turn out like like this!

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • 24/7 availability

“facilities, and businesses with 24/7 operations. Customized Solutions for…”

  • Years in business

“projects that make an impact. With over 20 years in the industry and 2,800+ projects…”

  • Licensed

“sustainable energy solutions company licensed to do business in all 50 states, our…”

Its website also mentions financing, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on X, YouTube, Facebook and LinkedIn. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
