Its one and two star share is 5 points above the typical installer in Texas. Across Texas, 285 of the 728 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 25 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Solartek call me. I went to as a quick question and was rudely hung up on. Very unprofessional. Unfortunately ill go with someone else.

Slimy sales tactics . Sketchy business, disappeared right after install. Can’t get ahold of anyone. Odd that you’re not an install company but you are texting several of my customers about installing. Very sketchy, poach like sales tactics. Get your own leads

Cunning marketing tactics: the number disappears after installation, and there's no way to contact anyone. Be aware that this company is irresponsible and its staff is terrible. After you install the product, they will scam you. Beware of this company. 👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿 Garbage company, money scam …

Donald and Jose were super professional, really great customer service, and they were always on time. Donald even went above and beyond by helping me put things in the garage and under the eave to keep the equipment dry. I highly recommend this team and company to anyone looking for reliable and helpful service. The company forgot to pack my optimizers leading to my install being delayed.

Solartek is top notch for solar panels, but what really stood out was the delivery. Donald was our driver and he’s truly amazing. The gravel made unloading tough, then the pallet jack died on him, and it turned into an all-night job. He …

Solartek is a great choice for solar panels—quality product and smooth service from beginning to end. Delivery was handled by Donald, and I have to say he’s the best. It took us a while to get everything unloaded because of the gravel, but he was patient the whole time and made sure nothing was rushed or damaged. That level of care really stood out. Definitely recommend Solartek and their team.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
