Its one and two star share is 1 point below the typical installer in the Oklahoma City area. Across Oklahoma, 23 of the 55 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 19 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in the Oklahoma City area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Affordable Solar is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Had someone come to my parents door at piss dark asking if I had time to talk about solar which I thought was strange at that time of night but what gets even creepier is the Charles dude that was supposed to be coming to our house … do your Criminal background checks and research on ANYONE you let into your home like that especially if they are going to be showing up late and towards the night time . I created a fake account just to leave this review because I’m concerned that if this company sees my last name they can just track the house they went to since they had put us down for an appoin

Eric and the solar crew who installed are so awesome. If you’re looking into solar power they are the ones to get. Very professional and quick if you’re lucky enough to not have to have permits.

Last month, my SolarEdge inverter failed, and SolarEdge sent me a replacement directly. I needed an installer to initialize the replacement unit. Fortunately, when I Googled for local solar installers, Affordable Solar was near the top of the search results. I sent a message describing my situation and expected a response the next day. Well, couldn't have been but a minute later and I received a phone call from Eric H., discussing my issue and setting up a time to get it checked out. On one of the hottest August evenings, he got my inverter set up, firmware updated, and back up and running. If

Affordable Solar did a fantastic job removing then reinstalling our solar panels during a total roof repair caused by hail. During this process, we discovered that a critical disconnect component was removed by a previous installer, which resulted in our system being unsafe and incompliant with safety regulations. The owner of Affordable Solar took ownership of an issue that was not his and ensured it was rectified and the solar system fully functional. I would recommend Affordable Solar to anyone seeking knowledgeable and depending solar install or maintenance.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions warranty and licensed, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

    Elsewhere

    • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
    • It posts on YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

    Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

    What we don't know

    • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
    • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
    • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
