Its one and two star share is 1 point above the typical installer in the Bakersfield area. Across California, 557 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 108 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in the Bakersfield area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Arc Energy Solutions is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

I really wanted this experience to be better and waited until my second summer to review. The install was acceptable. A couple days longer than anticipated but I added a lot to my existing setup so that wasn’t a big deal. A few more days for final setup and touch ups. Overall not bad. The actual value was the disappointment. After some initial adjustments I had to call and text a few more times over the following months to try to get the system to function as I envisioned. A year later it still has issues. The main issue is my battery rarely charges to 100% due to system settings which I do no

We have had a bad experience with this company, the battery has already stopped working twice and it has taken a month to fix the problem.

  • 1★ · around October 2025 · the company replied

Terrible experience. From improper installation to constant system failure and no one addressing anything.

Guys did great job, installing solar panels, very quick and efficient. But did not like them leaving trash, and not picking up after themselves.

Arc energy solutions has been amazing so far. Miguel came to assist us and explained our end of the year bill like no on has. We trusted Miguel and he's been in communication almost daily. We are excited to go solar with Arc Energy

John my Sr consultant was very good at explaining thing's to me and helping me go solar. Angel my project manager did a great job helping me understand every step of the process. I feel very good about their assistance and my new solar system!

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Years in business

“or just repaired? If your roof is over 20 years old, has widespread damage, or…”

  • Licensed

“solar and battery systems. Backed by licensed professionals, transparent pricing,…”

Its website also mentions financing and free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • Google also lists this company under electrical.
  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, X and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
