Its one and two star share is 3 points above the typical installer in Bakersfield. Across California, 478 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 263 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

The installed system has produced far less than anticipated. We were told it would cover 25% more than what we need and even be able to charge an electric car without a true up. 4 years later and I'm staring down the barrel of what may end up being a 4,000 dollar+ true up bill.

If zero stars were an option, I would choose it, since it is not I have given a one star review. We purchased solar panels from Solar Negotiators in 2019. It is now 2026, and that purchase is one of the biggest regrets we’ve ever experienced. What we were promised and what we received stand in stark contrast to one another. It would take too long of a review to list everything that we’ve had to deal with over the past seven years, so in summary these are the primary issues that you will deal with if you choose Solar Negotiators as your solar company. 1. Two stars is being generous. We had horrible communication from this company. We were constantly asking what the next steps were. No one reaching out about updates. Appointments being cancelled or randomly dropped in on us with calls saying they were 10-30 min away from our home. Was told we would have solar prior to the summer but failed to be transparent about the process and was holding up the process so we ended up with $600 plus electric bills at the start of summer with the solar panels installed on our roof. This is the first and last time I will use this company. They are not as milita

My review will depend on whether solar negotiators and enphase can get my system to work. This is the third time my system has been down. Paid a lot of money to have solar with batteries and then I have to pay PGE for power.

Solar Negotiators has been just wonderful for me to be a part of. I was originally under another company, but Solar Negotiators bought them out. They still honored everything that I had paid for under the original company. Unbeknownst to me, they discovered that my Solar converter wasn’t working and I needed to replace it. They came and they replaced it quickly and there was no charge to me because they discovered that it was still under warranty, so I didn’t have to purchase a very expensive new one.

I had an outstanding experience with Solar Negotiators from start to finish. From the initial consultation and quote through installation and PTO, their team was consistently professional, responsive, and on schedule. They designed a system that perfectly meets my home energy needs, which gave me a lot of confidence in both the process and the long-term results. The quality of the installation exceeded my expectations, and the entire process was smooth and well-coordinated. I was so impressed with their work that I had them install a home EV charger as well, and that project was handled with t

Its website also mentions financing, warranty and licensed, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau and Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on X, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
