Its one and two star share is 4 points below the typical installer in Bakersfield. Across California, 770 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 109 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in Bakersfield whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. SXC Construction is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Dropped the ball on my solar project, ignored calls and texts messages. Very disappointed as I was referred by a co-worker. Frustrating experience. Project is still unfinished.

Daniel and his crew did a great job in repairing my roof. They are a very professional company. I highly recommend them.

The individual crews that did the roof and solar installation and all of the control hardware were ALL so professional! I was super impressed! Caleb was so reassuring that the roofing work would be done right I had no worries about it. After witnessing the roof installation I would recommend that ANYONE needing a new roof call and arrange for an appointment. I have told several people that asked what an excellent job they all did!

  • It is also reviewed on Angi. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
