Its one and two star share is 7 points above the typical installer in Colorado. Across Colorado, 61 of the 216 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 20 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

TOTAL SCAM! Colin and Best Life Solar are complete frauds. Colin was hired by Gridhack,(another huckster) to install my system in July of 2025. It is now Feb 2026 and my system still doesn't work as advertised. He has refused to complete it time and again, ignores my calls and texts, and is a liar. I'm having to sue them both to get it done. I would give zero stars if I could. Caveat Emptor...buyer beware. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!

Colin did a great job assessing my solar, even filed a clam with Fimer to get my inverter replaced via warranty, yet I could not get ahold of the him after that; no response at all. …

Colin and his team are awesome! Responds quickly, very knowledgeable and knows everything about Solar. I had squirrels that knocked out my system and he worked hard until everything was 100%! Honest and fair too! Highly recommend!

Colin & team did a great job removing and replacing the solar panels on my roof before and after my roof was replaced. They really stand behind their work. Thanks!

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Fort Lupton is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
