Its one and two star share is 2 points below the typical installer in Orlando. Across Florida, 367 of the 675 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 335 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

We have had the system installed in our home for almost a year and are no where near what the promised savings would be. They claim when selling you the system that it operates at 105% of your current electric bill and we are at about 50%. What they tell us now is that their system is operating at 105% .Now they want to sell us more panels to achieve what they originally promised. You would think paying $70,000 for a system would be enough. The salesman miscalculated the need and now we are being taken advantage of...

Keith was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, patient and happy to answer ALL our questions. We are so so pleased to have found someone we can trust to help us navigate our solar panels, like many people, our original company no longer exists! Even tho we have had to eat the cost from that loss, I’m confident that we are back on track and know our options for the future/lifetime of our panels! Thank you Keith! Castaways has been extremely easy to work with. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Keith from castaway‘s arrived promptly, Evaluated our system and got right to work. The results were fantastic and were so much happier with our improved solar system This company answers their phones promptly and communicate communicates very well. I think they also have reasonable prices. I give them five stars which I Seldom do, but I can’t really even think of a complaint. From customer service to the technician , Each step was easy and went well. Highly recommend ! eduardo

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions warranty, free estimate, better business bureau, insured, licensed and licence number, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

    Elsewhere

    • It is also reviewed on ConsumerAffairs, Yelp and the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
    • It posts on X, LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

    Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

    What we don't know

    • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
    • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
    • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
