Its one and two star share is 1 point below the typical installer in the Orlando area. Across Florida, 344 of the 675 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 516 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Every company we hold in the Orlando area, on one axis

0% rated 1–2★15%

Each mark is one company we hold in the Orlando area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Spartan Solar is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

I won’t recommend anyone to get service from them. They lied to us.

Spartan Solar sent a door to door rep to my house, and when asked for a peddlers permit (which they're required to have, by our city) the rep played dumb. Our city will issue you a badge with your peddlers permit and notify the residents. They check your business, and insurance to make sure you're even able to work here. After a 25 mins hold the Florida based rep continued to play dumb about the permit requirement. I'm a big fan of solar, but a Florida based company using a clueless, door knocking 18 year old sales rep probably isn't lt gonna deliver on your project. Use a local, reputable ins

Edited March 2026: since this review has been posted, we have attempted contact with the company numerous times with no response at all, nobody has been out since we had the home inspection and no contact whatsoever with anyone. They were very great in the beginning but we are very disappointed in how things have gone since doing the credit check and paperwork, we started this process around Labor Day of 2025, and have gone nowhere with it. Jared has been very informative and has answered all of our questions throughout the entire process. He has been great at making all of the paperwork go sm

John Flowers was excellent. He provided clear information and elexpert advice. We look forward to our solar panels. May 1st Update. Once again John was great but unfortunately the whole process has been a lot more difficult than anticipated. Prior to the installation I was informed that parts would be deliver but not much details were given. This would have been fine but during delivery of the part the delivery man needed assistant, I could provide assistance but it was highly concerning as the material was extremely heavy and there was high risk of damage to the parts during the process. Great company to work with. They keep you up to date on the process. Our salesman, Micheal Scott was very knowledgeable.

They are saving us money each month. Very professional installation. And everything looks very well done.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions years in business, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

    What we don't know

    • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
    • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
    • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
