Its one and two star share is 1 point below the typical installer in Orlando. Across Florida, 347 of the 675 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 103 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Every company we hold in Orlando, on one axis

0% rated 1–2★15%

Each mark is one company we hold in Orlando whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Florida Solar Contracting is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

If i could leave 0 stars i would. I have been trying to get in contact with these people for MONTHS. Regarding two micro converter on the solar panel being replaced. I have been calling and emailing . And i get the bare minimum of communication back. Its been since September. Im currently having to pay a monthly payment to these people on top of an addition power bill because 2 of the solar panels are not working and collecting as they should. They truly lack Communication and professionalism. Its been SIX MONTHS. Yet no one has come out here to do their job.

I just want to share this post. Better earth installed some solar panels a year ago, and my house now has no power. Do too melted wires and brackets...... The installers wasn't trained for the job or the business puts there faith into incompetent workers. Very poor business ethics. A gentleman from Duke energy came out today the see what he could find, he told me with out Evan digging around I'm looking at 4 violations and I don't know how your house didn't burn down k

Called FSC for an inspection because we had a hail storm. Franco was very helpful and was honest the whole way through. After the build was complete they were very intentional on cleaning up the area. Also after reading the reviews I knew I was in good hands. If you want it done right I’d recommend FSC.

Very professional company, communicative, and transparent. They were patient to answer any questions I had. Specifically with Franco the way he walked me through the whole process. The roof looks amazing I am very happy with the color options they have. I will definitely be recommending FSC to my family and friends. 10/10 experience!

Very pleasurable experience. Knowledgeable, punctual, experienced, trustworthy, and I like their “peer review” with each other. To me, that is always an important aspect. No unpleasant surprises for us!

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Financing

“in Florida offer a variety of financing options tailored to your budget and needs.”

  • Warranty

    “\n Florida code requirements \n Warranty preservation \n Hurricane-rated…”

  • Free estimate

“Florida Solar Contracting today for a free quote or call 855-372-7652. Let us help you…”

  • Insured

“across the region, our licensed and insured team is trusted for quality,…”

  • Licensed

“and mounting systems that require a licensed solar professional to handle…”

Its website also mentions years in business, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp and the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
