Its one and two star share is 1 point above the typical installer in Connecticut. Across Connecticut, 52 of the 112 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 27 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

I had a very disappointing experience with Everlast. We were initially promised that our solar panel installation would be completed within two months, it has been 15 months ago and the project never got finished. The process was plagued with poor planning and lack of oversight. The inspector failed to identify that the roof needed to be redone, which caused additional delays and frustration later on. On top of that, the company was not transparent about their limitations—they clearly did not have the proper tools or resources to complete the job, yet continued to give empty “next week” promis

Uses a robocaller (per rep on the phone) to illegally spam call people on the federal Do Not Call List. I reported them to the FTC.

Was contacted by the company out of no where, they had all my info which was odd but after checking the reviews figured why not have them come out to give me a quote. setup date and time only to have them no show. then I wind up on their daily email list over a month later.

Matthew Tomlin was my go to person every step of the way. I was informed of all of the activity that would be occurring. My questions were always answered on a timely basis and everyone who worked on this project was very professional.I look forward to lower energy costs and using sunlight to passively fill the grid.

Informative and professional. My rep provided me with the information needed to make my decision if solar was for me. Had previous reps from other companies visit and provided estimates. Felt more comfortable going with Everlast over anyone else. Installation was straightforward, there was no mess and the installers worked efficiently

Roof looks great. Also reinstalled Solar Panels which are now working much better than previously.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp and the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
