Freedom Solar USA

Each mark is one company we hold in the New Haven area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Freedom Solar USA is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

This nightmare started in October 2023. Lie after lie. Ignoring the engineer request to fix a spit rafter. They continued with the system installation. Long story short. Now the roof is leaking and the rafter is way more spit and 2 others going in the same situation. Now saying they don't have the funds to comply with the warranty. Please call the consumer protection department. This company is not supposed to work in ct. Not licensed. They have many complaints. Better business bureau department says the same thing. Many complaints with then also. These people are pathetic liars. Let's join. T

This company, particularly the business owner does not operate on honesty and integrity. The solar panels on my home were installed on the roof but not completely connected. It was determined that an electrical upgrade was needed after Mr. Thomas received a full $75000.00 payment. He has not yet to complete the install after 6 months and continues to provide excuses. I went to the actual place of business to find that it is a dummy business. He did have an electrician come out to the property a few weeks ago. Maybe he will stick true to his word to avoid legal matters. I am happy to update thi

0 stars! Who is this Prince guy that everyone is saying is soo great? Thomas Davies has been an absolute DISASTER to work with. Both my mother and I have panels sitting on the roof collecting dust. Over 10 months and the bare minimum response from him. Failed inspection. My mom's panels aren't even approved by eversource yet. This guy did all this work on our house without even pulling permits. Panels are originally placed crooked. Absolutely ridiculous. He was so quick to answer the phone when we were signing with him but now it's days, weeks, sometimes no response from him. Save yourself the

Freedom Solar USA provided us with multiple flexible financing options—power purchase agreements, cash deals, and solar loans. Thomas is the technician, and he helped us determine the best fit for our needs during our consultation. We couldn’t be more pleased!

Great experience from the start! After struggling with other companies, Freedom Solar USA helped complete our unfinished solar project. No complaints—just excellent service.

Freedom Solar USA came highly recommended by a friend. Thomas, the owner, personally provided our estimate. His straightforward approach and lack of upselling impressed us, so we chose them for our solar installation. The entire process was seamless—on-time service, excellent communication, and top-notch results. Highly recommended!

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

• It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
