Its one and two star share is 4 points above the typical installer in the New Haven area. Across Connecticut, 30 of the 112 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 33 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Every company we hold in the New Haven area, on one axis

0% rated 1–2★25%

Each mark is one company we hold in the New Haven area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Greenskies Clean Energy LLC is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

A company that can tear down a community’s iconic landmark to put up solar panels sucks in my opinion. There are so many other options around the area. Don’t get me wrong I’m all for clean energy but not at the cost of someone’s livelihood. I just found out that they do have a heart. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for letting our beloved drive-in live on.

I want to thank Greenskies Clean Energy for recognizing what a simple historic landmark can mean to a community. Your withdrawal from pushing The Mahoning Drive-In into oblivion, shows a strong moral fiber that seems to be missing from a lot of companies in today's world. Greed is disgusting and it's great to see it didn't cloud your judgment. I wish this company the best in pursuit of green energy!

Edit: Thank you for realizing the importance that the Mahoning Drive In Theater has in our community. I will retract my 1 star and give you what I feel you now deserve. Again, thank you. What gives you the right to try and tear down a historical landmark. Families have been gathering for YEARS at the Mahoning Drive in. Nobody wants to see your solar "farm". Why dont you find somewhere else to go and leave the one thing we hold near and dear alone.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
