Its one and two star share is 2 points below the typical installer in the Danbury area. Across Connecticut, 55 of the 112 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 81 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Ordered by the share of one and two star reviews, weighted by how many reviews stand behind it. It ranks review records, not workmanship.

Every company we hold in the Danbury area, on one axis

0% rated 1–2★20%

Each mark is one company we hold in the Danbury area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Shoreline Solar is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Excellent work, great communication and timely with all appointments and scheduling.

The team did an excellent job removing and reinstalling our existing solar panels. They were professional, careful, and very communicative throughout the process. They neatly stored all of the panels and equipment in our yard and clearly explained where everything would be. Partnering with Roofing The Shoreline for the roof install was seamless. Once the new roof was complete, they reinstalled and reconnected everything without any issues. I really appreciated their attention to detail and would definitely recommend them.

Overall a great job by Shoreline team in completing the replacement of Solar panels and reinstall the same. My systems is about 10 plus years old and the team had to go through multiple iterations to find out the faulty panels and did a great job to get close to my power generation as before. The engineers are having good knowledge about the work and overall happy with the entire process. Even though it got delayed due to faulty panels, Omar has kept me updated with the latest status. They are also very competitive in the pricing .

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
