I recommend caution. Five years ago Generation Solar installed panels at my house. I have reported leaks in the roof 3 times since the install. Generation Solar came out twice to fix the leaks. I have tried to contact service/support for 3 months. I have logged over 20 calls and 2 emails. I have left multiple messages, spoken to some one in the office twice, and have been unable to leave messages due to a full voice mailbox. I am exploring alternatives to be compensated. Update: I called on 09/08/2025 and spoke with someone in the office. They confirm that my calls were in my file and I should

Extremely disappointed with Generation Solar. Since the installation of our solar panels, we’ve had leaks on 3 separate occasions, each time resulting in water spots appearing on our ceiling directly below the panels. Despite repeated service calls, they have failed to permanently fix the issue. This week alone, we've sent 2 emails and left 2 voice messages, and have yet to receive any response—all while the water damage on our ceiling continues to worsen. This level of neglect and poor follow-through is unacceptable.

I didn't believe in solar at first, but my daughter told me to give it a try. Generation Solar took care of everything, the permits the installation, design, all of it. Now my system covers all my electricity and i even got tax credits this year. I am so glad i listened. Thanks GS and James for the great service.

I’m genuinely grateful I went with Generation Solar. From the first consultation to the final installation, everything was handled with care, clarity, and real professionalism. The team was friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to communicate with no pressure, just solid answers and honest work. Highly recommend them to anyone looking to make the switch!

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
