Its one and two star share is 1 point below the typical installer in California. Across California, 788 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 5 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Brad Harrison and his team at Horizon Solar provided awesome service. I had them come to my home and change out the old 100amp main panel with a 200 amp panel. This was a job that required alof of attention to detail. HGorizon worked with PGE to dtermine the service would support 200 Amps and then coordinated the power off, the inspection with Shasta County replacing the panel inside the wall and the power back on all in 1 day!

Brad had the best quote and top quality panels and inverters. Larry came to our house and was very knowledgeable and courteous. These guys ran into some issues (rocks) during my install and never slowed down. It was over 100° and they just got the work done. My install is clean and I couldn't be happier. I have already recommended them to several people. If you're looking at solar give these folks a call.

Great, confident planning and explanation of products and service options; excellent installation using the highest quality materials; and amazing customer service on both the financial and installation sides of the job. If all that appeals to you, give them a call.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Bonded

“you hire is properly licensed, bonded, and insured in your state or…”

Its website also mentions warranty, free estimate, insured and licensed, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on ConsumerAffairs and Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Palo Cedro is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
