Its one and two star share is 8 points above the typical installer in South Carolina. Across South Carolina, 29 of the 101 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 77 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

On September 30, 2025, I contacted LGCY Power's customer service to report an active roof leak occurring beneath the solar panel system installed by the company in 2023. This leak has caused significant water damage to my home, including soaked attic insulation, compromised drywall, and a saturated primary bedroom ceiling—where water actively drips whenever it rains. LGCY Power informed me at that time that they had “no repair crews in the state of South Carolina” and could not provide a timeline or estimated date for service. After two weeks with no resolution or updates, I independently loca

If I could give negative stars I would. This has been the biggest scam of my life. They promise you the world and you get nothing. Still have a $465 power bill on top of the $400 solar panel bill every month. Absolute ripoff and no one does anything other than try to sell you more! TERRIBLE.

I don't appreciate your sales people IGNORING No Soliciting signs by stating they don't apply to them because they are not selling anything. That's a line of non-sense, you are pushing solar services which is selling.

They need to correct instalation issue with wiring up solar box and fill in holes at breaker box. Other than that, I will be satisfied.

The crew was very knowledgeable and respectful. They did the job very quickly

Install went very well. Had one panel damaged during transport so they couldn't install and came back 2 days later to install it and complete the job. They did great answering all my questions!

I really wasn't home when they started my install on my solar panels but once they finished the guy over the installation gave me a really good run down on what's to be done and not to be done and he was really nice and polite.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Warranty

“available, product and workmanship warranty, and benefits from solar tax credits.”
  • Licensed

“when you deal with a qualified and licensed solar contractor. Step 4: Solar Power…”

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on X, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
