Its one and two star share is 6 points above the typical installer in North Carolina. Across North Carolina, 51 of the 130 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 12 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

For those who may not know, Luminex is just a marketing company. They DO NOT do their own solar installations. This can bring great pains beyond the contract phase, like it happened to me. Signed a contract for solar August 2022, no install until January 7th 2023. Then the actual installer, Sigora Solar, stopped any communications, even to the point where Luminex could not get anyone to answer them either. From there, I was on my own. I had to hunt down people on my own with the city’s help (2 months went by and Sigora had not even attempted to schedule a post install inspection with the city,

Luminex Solars employees were extremely knowledgeable and were able to answer all of my questions regarding the different products. 10/10 highly recommend their services

My wife and I got solar installed by Luminex and everything was amazing.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
