Its one and two star share is 1 point above the typical installer in New Haven. Across Connecticut, 38 of the 112 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 17 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in New Haven whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. National Renewable Energy Partners is the red one. After a very aggravating install process of lies and deception, system was installed September of 24, Stopped working May 25. Called main number a few days later. Finally after a week I got ahold of a rep. After a month of poor communication and no action, I got ahold of the VP of the company and he assured me it would be resolved. Now 3 months have gone by and the system still doesn’t work. Not one person has even been to my property.

Overall fantastic experience. The company did an amazing, quick and extremely efficient job. The employee we worked with, Jeff, went above and beyond to work with us on getting the best deal, and making the transition to solar an affordable and effortless experience. They took care of everything and were very professional. Would absolutely recommend this company to anyone looking to switch to solar.

Jon Fino was excellent to work with. He was referred to us by a friend who used him for their solar project. He came to us after we had someone knock on our door and giving us the pitch to change to solar. Jon reviewed the other company's design and found flaws in their load calculations that would have delivered us an "underpowered" system for a bigger monthly cost. Jon and his team were available through the whole process and kept reassuring us that a lot of the schedule is "hurry up and wait". Their contracting team showed up when they said they would and were done in less than a day. We we

I had several bids but my husband and I liked NREP’s proposal better. I felt comfortable with the overall experience and after a few months I can say that the savings are being great! Also, Tanya was great in helping us with all our concerns.

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on LinkedIn and Instagram. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
