Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in Bend. Across Oregon, 39 of the 106 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 214 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Have not returned any of my calls. They answered once but hung up right away.

One year in and now it's time to update my experience. At this point I can honestly say that I would not make this purchase if I had to do it all again. Right from the day my system was activated there was an issue with an electronic monitoring component called a Gateway. The Gateway requires internet connection and power from an outlet close to the circuit panel, mine is about 3-4 feet away but reports a weak signal through the outlet, unfortunately there are no outlets closer so this was the best option. It took a few weeks for it to begin showing issues, the Gateway would loose connection a

We contacted energy trust of Oregon to find out which solar company to go to when we bought our electric car. National Solar was the first to respond and also ended up being my neighbor. Their service, personnel, price, warranty, and process were all exceptional. The install crew were also great! They all made it a smooth process. I highly recommend them!

Kevin Massey was friendly knowledgeable and good to work with

When the solar company that installed our panels went out of business, we were left needing repairs and didn't know where to turn. National Solar responded immediately, understood the issue right away, and had Jared's team on-site in less than a week. The problem was fixed within two hours at a fair price with great communication the whole way through. Their long track record in the industry makes switching to them a no-brainer. Highly recommend!

What the company says about itself

Its website also mentions warranty and licence number, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau, Yelp and GuildQuality. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
