Its one and two star share is 23 points above the typical installer in Massachusetts. Across Massachusetts, 26 of the 198 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 240 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Someone explain to me why I have to pay 1.5 times my national grid bill with this 4 star community solar company? What a waste of money! The way you rub people playing with their fears.

Still getting bills almost 6 months after canceling my account. Do not do business with them! This is a scam.

Billing is confusing, credits to utility so delayed the 10% Solar savings eaten up by late fees . Customer service abysmal.

It's hard to tell if I'm saving the advertised 10% because their billing operation is so screwed up. They claim this is partly because they get late and/or incorrect from National Grid. This may or may not be true, but what I see is high bills supposedly because of multiple cycles billed at once. Occasionally, they claim the problem has been fixed, but it never is. Also, and unlike virtually all companies I've encountered, they insist on saving my credit card number as a default, rather than making that an opt-in feature. I've asked them multiple times to change this. They say they'll "look in

I like Nexamp, during the winter months in the months in the Northeast they don't really offer much help, but during the summer its pretty good. They however have not been great about rewarding for referrals. I'm still waiting on the gift card months and months later.

Going on 2yrs with Nexamp and our electric bill has always been lower then what CMP charged (even with out the 15% savings).

I’m happy to be a part of this movement to explore better ways to receive our energy. NEXAMP IS POISED FOR THE FUTURE and I’m ready to join in with them. They seem very impressive and customer focused. RR Glens Falls,N.Y.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
