Its one and two star share is 37 points above the typical installer in Illinois. Across Illinois, 14 of the 183 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 18 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

0 stars if I could. They messed up their billing. I haven't had an account with them in over a year and they are still charging me. I don't even own the house associated with the account.

Run! Run! Run! There is no savings. Its all lies and confusion. And they to cancel it take 6 months. Do not...DO NOT ENROLL IN THIS SCAM! This company is a SCAM! They told me I would save on my energy bill, but instead it went up DRASTICALLY. There was a whole month I was out of the country, and as I done in the past, unplugged everything, and I got a regular bill as if I wasn't out of the country. When I caught on and tried to cancel, they told me 90 days, but I will be billed up to 6 months later. Make it make sense in the 21st century, you can't cancel upon request and not be billed months

The billing situation is absolutely dismal and the email customer service is horrible. I don’t know if I actually saved any money but after 3 years (approx) I’ve decided to cut my losses. Not billing customers for months and sending them huge bills during then holidays is not a company I want to do business with.

Signing up was easy. It took a little while to be assigned the solar farm, but it's been seamless ever since. When I had reservations about joining, the process was explained simply, a second time. No regrets. And who doesn't want to save money!

I'm not sure what there could be to be unhappy with. You pay less other than another payee it just works. I'm now here and interested enough to read the whole agreement. I want then to give me more :)

NEXAMP SOLAR to me has been very good experience, I dropped NEXAMP last year I guess to see the difference with and without the service from NEXAMP I returned a couple of month after me test and discovered there is a savings so now I'm back and satisfied with my decision to stay with NEXAMP Solar.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, X and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
