    Late last year, we were in the process of evaluating solar options for our home in Massachusetts and NuWatt provided a quote. After meeting with three providers, we selected NuWatt to move forward with the installation based product knowledge and their proposal. We were then sent the purchase contract which we had reviewed by our lawyer as should be done with any large purchase. We worked in good faith to come to a reasonable compromise on the language as the original draft was completely unreasonable in terms of liability, payment structure and recourse in the event of a problem.     The design, installation, and price of our 13.9 kW solar system were great. NuWatt was easy to work with to design a system for our roof that filled the available space and did a nice job of installing it cleanly in two days. Unfortunately, NuWatt's assurance that we would get annual net-metering was a lie, so we spent $5500 to increase the size of the system in order to net $700 *less* energy. Don't believe the sales guy, he doesn't know what he is talking about, and the company won't stand behind those assurances.

    This is the first time I've had a bad enough experience with a company for me to go out and leave a review about what happened. I plan to file complaints with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office. If these issues continue, I may have to reach out to lawyer as well. Quickly covering the two big issues I've specifically had before going into some other general reasons for avoiding this company. 1) The install was promised to take 2-4 months. It actually took 10 months. 2) They installed a faulty system that they promised to fix and still haven't delive

    I have changed my review from five stars to three stars. I have reached out to them with questions about my system and have not heard back after calling them four times with the same question. I would not recommend them to anyone due to their lack of service after installation. Three stars for the installation, which went seamlessly. However, they had subcontracted to a local company and did not install themselves.

    I found NuWatt through Energy Sage after getting several home evaluations and estimates for solar panels. I was very happy with NuWatt's service in planning and installing the rooftop panels, and with the ongoing support since then. The panels have functioned very well. Included software allows me to monitor my solar electricity generation day-by-day or over longer periods of time. My electricity bills are lower than previously. As electric bills increase, the value of my solar panels has become even greater. I installed the solar panels to lower my family carbon footprint and to make our regi

    I reached out to NuWatt in 2025 and they were able to finish my project from planning to installation to active production all within a couple of months. Their service was responsive and I am loving having Solar installed on my roof. Huge Shoutout to Madhukar and Shehzad for following up on the progress, answering all my questions and responding in a timely manner. Totally recommend NuWatt Energy for your solar needs
