Its one and two star share is 10 points above the typical installer in North Carolina. Across North Carolina, 43 of the 130 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 20 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Proceed with extreme caution!!!! when dealing with Palmetto/LightReach. Our family’s experience has been extremely disappointing. We believe the company takes advantage of consumers who are under stress and not in the best position to evaluate a long-term financial commitment. When concerns were raised, getting clear answers and timely responses was difficult. Before signing anything, make sure you fully understand the terms, obtain copies of all documents, verify all projected savings independently, and have a trusted family member review everything. Has been over 2 months since a sales rep (Nick) came to sell me some solar energy, they did install everything fairly quickly. But after they install the panels on the roof, they left a big hole on my kitchen wall, and never came back to fix it, I had to contact their contractor company, because the sales rep that we were dealing with, was giving us to run around. That went well and quick. Still, we haven't been able to use our panels bc we don't know how the process is going, no one's communicate with us, on what is going on. we have no idea what is next. No communication whatsoever. This com

Don’t ever purchase. They don’t stand behind their product. After 1 year you will be stuck with $1000 technician bill. They know there products breaks so after 1 year you are SOL. Not only that, but when the system stops producing not even one notification that electricity is not being generated. Awful design, awful app. Don’t do it.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Salisbury is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
