Its one and two star share is 2 points above the typical installer in Honolulu. Across Hawaii, 32 of the 87 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 13 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in Honolulu whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. R&R Solar Supply is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Ryno does not deserve even 1 star. He just sells the system and when something goes wrong, he does not fix it. Please do not support him. You will regret it. I have no option but to replace his system because nobody else can repair it. And then I will sue him for damages.

Rolf, Aaron, and the rest of the team are a pleasure to work with. They have the best pricing, are very knowledgable, and go the extra mile. When I need advice on ANYTHING solar related, I know I can just pick up the phone and call Rolf.

R&R Solar Supply is solid from top to bottom. Jim, Aaron, and Rolf are good‑hearted, smart‑as‑hell guys who bring real knowledge and real support to Hawai‘i’s solar community. Always helpful, always on it, and always a great partner. PV, EP Cubes and hot water. R&R will take care of you. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had an amazing experience with R&R Solar, thanks to Seth and Mason! They did a fantastic job removing and installing my solar panels with great care and efficiency. From start to finish, they were professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. They took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I understood the entire process. Their attention to detail and commitment to quality were evident in their work. Not only did they complete the job efficiently, but they also went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. I highly recommend R&R Solar, especially if you have t

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
