Its one and two star share is 6 points above the typical installer in Pennsylvania. Across Pennsylvania, 38 of the 146 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 16 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

They are very poor at servicing what they sell. Be prepared to have your system down for months awaiting repairs. Very disappointed. They will blame the manufacturer for delays when in fact the supplier has a pretty good turn around once they know of an issue which takes Tony and Sue quite awhile to report as well. (AFTER YOUR REPLY) yes the system has had many issues (another reason Im not impressed) and it has always taken long periods of time to repair. I have 2 panels down now since July 2nd you called it in finally on the 18th and have had the parts since July 25th and yet now on Oct 17th

I have not yet decided whether to install solar, but Tony and Sue took a lot of time to provide me with accurate information about my up-front cost and likely savings. They made it clear my roof was not at the best orientation (east-west rather than north-south, in the latter case they put the panels on the south side, in the former they must put them on both sides) for solar. I did a net present value (NPV) analysis to calculate the rate of return on my investment and it comes up as borderline, lower than most of my investments but higher than some. If my roof orientation was optimum, this pr

I rarely write reviews, but this time I am compelled to tell everyone about my solar experience with REPOWER PA. I am not new to solar. Over the past several years, I have spoken with and met several solar installers. About a year ago, I had a system installed by a reputable installer (not Repower NEPA) that has been in business for over 20 years. That installation was disorganized and the installers were lacking all of the tools they needed. Overall, It was an unpleasant experience. I liked the solar system and decided to add another set of panels. No way I was going to use the previous insta

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Warranty

“binder full of useful documents and warranty information after installation. I…”
  • Free estimate

“REPOWER PA today to schedule your free consultation and learn how we can help you save…”
  • Years in business

“NEPA) that has been in business for over 20 years. That installation was disorganized…”

Its website also mentions established, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It posts on Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
