Its one and two star share is 7 points above the typical installer in Tucson. Across Arizona, 99 of the 269 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 43 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in Tucson whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Rising Solar is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

I am on the do not call list and never expressed any interest in your company, still got a call from Claudio trying to sell me solar. To potential customers: If they are willing to break laws to get customers I would imagine they also don't take laws into consideration when installing systems or offering contracts. I would avoid 100%

SCAM COMPANY - constantly calling me (I'm on the do not call list) claiming they want to give me free solar through a federal program. They refuse to take me off their list and are a nuisance. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CON ARTISTS.

Ryan Lapotosky has been outstanding throughout the entire process. Always available to handle any issue and gets them resolved.

Patient, Profesional, Compassionate and Concern for what I wanted in a SOLAR array. Those are the only words to describe my experience with This company, Rising Solar. From the initial contact through the contract arrangements and the final install. It was obvious the attention to my/ a clients needs they prioitized. Claudio and Ryan listened to me and clarified my understanding when I had questions or concerns. After 5, five previous companies were listened to, I can and do recommend this company, Rising Solar, for consideration.

It was a pleasure working with Pablo. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything thoroughly. Thank you for helping me understand the program options. I am grateful for your help and highly recommend your services. Thank you again for your support.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
