Its one and two star share is 1 point below the typical installer in Tucson. Across Arizona, 166 of the 269 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 169 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Solar Gain ruined my life. I am a teacher, and very much look forward to my summer vacations. My apartments hired Solar Gain to install panels. Construction started in June, and here we are a week into September with no end in sight. There was stomping, hammering, drilling, loud music, and yelling at 6:30 a.m. three months ago, that is continuing through today. I’m on doctor’s orders to quarantine for five days due to COVID-19, but can’t get any rest. My bedroom has basically been a construction zone at 6:30 a.m. for the last 90 days. Solar Gain, wrap it up already. And just because the worker

Solar Gain has exceeded my expectations at every turn. They provide a superior product and are super supportive throughout the project. My sales rep, Trace Cecil, is very personable while being professional and knowledgable. He is a delight to work with! The rest of the team have been great as well. The installation went very smoothly, and the system is working great. Very highly recommend this company.

My experience with Solar Gain was very good. Their sales representative Trace Cecil was excellent from the time I met him at the local trade show in Tucson. Helped us go through the solar purchasing, process and close out. He was very informative, professional and knew exactly what he was talking about. He is and will be a great asset to Solar Gain or any other company in the future.

I would like to give an outstanding review regarding Cole Morelli and the service he as provided. He was very knowledgeable and professional. He answered all of my questions and was very kind. I would give him 5 stars and recommend him to anyone who is interested in solar. Thank you very much Gary Kuhn

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Financing

“to us that you are aware of all financing options and every incentive available so…”

Its website also mentions established, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau and Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on YouTube, X, Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
