Its one and two star share is 1 point below the typical installer in Tucson. Across Arizona, 163 of the 269 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 473 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

When calling to make an appointment for an estimate, "Joe", didn't like that I thought his questions were irrelevant and told me to never call there again and hung up on me. Questions such as "how long have you lived in your house". If that's the way they make appointments, what's going to happen after installation? Don't do business here, plenty of other choices.

Its been 3 months since we asked for a quote - and nothing. The initial review was poorly structured - they never asked what our needs were and told us what our requirements were and that it would be 2-3 weeks to see a design. Here we are three months later with zippo. They keep telling us it will be 'shortly.' There are a million solar companies out there - all of whom make an effort to contact their customers. I would NOT recommend this company - mainly because they don't ask potential customers what their needs are, don't get back to you EVER and simply continually try to sell you on the en

Wasnt even worthy of getting an estimate.

service was completed on time. Had issues with communication and follow through with paperwork which almost delayed completion. But at the end TFS corrected all issues and pushed for on time completion. If they would have had better communication at the beginning I would have rated them higher. Install team was very professional and did an outstanding job.

We are very satisfied by the work done by TFS and our solar panel system. They really kept our best interest in mind when it came to remaining eligible for certain tax incentives. The administrative team is very communicative and let us know of changes or issues well ahead of time so that we could plan. They are also very responsive to any questions we had. Their installers did a great job, too.

TFS provides the premier solar equipment with the best installation and customer service. We are very satisfied!

TFS was professional, reliable, honest, as well as enthusiastic about installing rooftop solar. I procrastinated on getting a solar/storage system because I was discouraged by consistent reporting on the messiness of the solar market. Gathering estimates confirmed that there is some messiness out there, but it also highlighted the contrast demonstrated by TFS. I think mission-driven and employee-owned make a difference. Highly recommend.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Free estimate

“Ready to Go Solar? Call today for a free consultation or solar home evaluation 520-740-0736…”
  • 24/7 availability

“emergency, we recommend contacting a 24/7 electrical contractor. Additional…”

Its website also mentions financing, warranty and established, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
