The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 216 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.
Every company we hold in Tucson, on one axis
Each mark is one company we hold in Tucson whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Saguaro Solar, Electric, and Roofing is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Months after supposedly being finished with installation, a wire with bad insulation touched metal and caused the breakers to trip on our Powerwall and the battery to be locked by Tesla until the issue is fixed. When they came out to find the problem, they found not only that but that wires to some of the panels were not installed correctly so not once since installation have we had all of the panels connected and providing power. This is also the second time since installation that they found panels weren't connected, but apparently didn't find them all the first time. So it's been about six

I signed a $107,000 contract with Saguaro Solar on May 8, 2025. I was assured the project would be completed by year-end, would cover both my main house and casita, and would include a technology upgrade for my existing solar pool heater. The Reality: Scope & Cost Creep: On August 26, 2025, the cost increased to $112,000 due to equipment changes. Shortly after, I was told they couldn't power the casita after all, leaving it on the grid—yet the price didn't reflect this reduced scope. The 5-Month Delay: Despite promises of a 12/31/2025 completion, the system didn't receive Permission to Operate

Very friendly company. Enjoyed the installation process. Half of the unit stopped working less than a year in. Even though they monitor the system they didn’t catch it. After 3 months I noticed it. They did cover expected loss of generation. Appreciate them doing that for me. 2.5 years after installation I have a large leak in the roof causing damage inside attic and ceiling. Leak is occurring where panels are but they claim it is related to the vent. Pictures show sloppy craftsmanship under my tiles that could have caused the tiles not to sit properly or eventually cause damage. Had an indepe

Did a great job up front with sales team and install. Have had some issues with 1 panel that is ongoing for 2 months now. It seems follow up after you purchase is lacking.

We went solar with Saguaro several years ago and my husband and I have been very happy with the results. Our TEP bills have never gone over $50, even in summer. Our salesman Noe Q was great and Christopher R walked us through the whole process and gave us follow up calls along the way. We’re retired and a fixed bill is a big help!

Angelo arrived to provide a full inspection on our solar array with 13 panels. Now one week later it continues to perform like its new. Saguaro Solar company is the best in Tucson area including here in Green Valley and Sahuarita areas. Highly recommended.

I recently had a service call with a technician named Angelo. He was exceedingly professional, spoke to me in terms i could easily understand. He answered all of my questions. He even went above an beyond the point of the specific service call by pointing out things i could do to improve my installation. He is an exceptional representative for this Company.

What the company says about itself
Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.
Warranty
“Work Solar systems carry a 25-year warranty, and every roofing and electrical job…”
Years in business
“to your energy needs, backed by over 10 years of experience and a 25-year system…”
Licensed
“storms are hard on Tucson roofs. Our licensed roofing crew handles repairs, full…”
Its website also mentions free estimate and better business bureau, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.
What we don't know
- The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
- We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
- We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
